More Than a Program. A Place to Belong.
Patterson Place was created from a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves purpose, dignity, and meaningful work. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Huntsville, Alabama, serving adults with intellectual and developmental intellectual and developmental disabilities through an innovative, God-centered vocational community.
Our story is rooted in love, faith, and the desire to change the way the world views adults with special needs. At Patterson Place, our Citizens are celebrated for who they are and empowered to grow through hands-on work, creativity, and service. They become artisans, bakers, makers, and creators — building confidence, skills, and lifelong friendships along the way.
